Many children who rely on free school lunches during school terms risk being undernourished in the holidays if their parents cannot afford to feed them properly. Gravesend Rotary was invited to take part in a community day at KCC Library at Marling Cross. Several charities and voluntary organisations were represented such a Girl Guides, Age Concern, St John Ambulance and Embroidery Guild. We were there to tell visitors about the work of Rotary and how we can help the local community.
