Use your wheel power!

Entry has been opened early for a North Kent cycle ride as the organisers set a target of raising £20,000 for charities this year.

‘On Your Bike’, organised by Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary, is on Sunday, 18 May, and last year welcomed 430 riders.  For 2025 entry has been opened now with the challenge also of each rider bringing another one with them!

“May might seem a way away,” said GwE Rotary President Mark Underwood. “ But we want to be in the riding diaries of clubs and riders who can then bring more riders along.

“ We do not have an entry fee but ask for donations and, thanks to sponsored support, the main part of money raised goes to charities.”

Main beneficiary of On Your Bike 2025 is Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services who continue to respond to increases in support calls and have established a network of dementia co-ordinators for surgeries across Kent. Also other Rotary supported charities will benefit.

Starting from and returning to beside the River Thames in Gravesend, Kent, the event has 15, 30 and 45 mile routes that appeal to all cyclists.  There are refreshment checkpoints and support vehicles.
