Charity Concert on Saturday, 23 November, at St George’s Church, Gravesend.
A great evening of music and helping vital charities in our area.
A renowned music venue right in the town centre with ample parking. Light refreshments also available.
Two of the artists, Mark Underwood (flute) and Carol Anne Wells (piano), you will recall from the Cobham Hall concert. They will play J S Bach and deeply emotional music by Tchaikovsky and Weber.
Marisa di Muro is an established international soprano and her programme will include songs by Handel, Rossini and Morricone’s Nella Fantasia, based on the haunting theme Gabriel’s Oboe from the film The Mission.
Sophie McCormack is an extraordinarily talented young marimba player. She will play special arrangements from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, The Flight of the Bumble Bee and The Entertainer.
Gravesham with Ebbsfleet Rotary has established the creating of special music concerts as a way of widening the local arts scene as well as raising support for charities. The combination of artists, different instruments and young talented musicians produced the sold-out Gala Concert at Cobham Hall earlier this year.
Come and enjoy this fabulous programme. Book by 1st November for an early bird ticket.
